Our Story

Built By Practitioners.
For Practitioners.

The Evidence-Based Professionals Society (EBP Society) was officially launched in January 2013 by executives and an advisory team at Joyfields Institute for Evidence-Based Professionals — recognizing that the field needed a dedicated community infrastructure for evidence-based practitioners, not just training events.

What began as a credentialing programme has grown into a full ecosystem: live EB Pathways training, on-demand masterclasses, four progressive certification levels, an online member portal, and a monthly publication reaching practitioners across the globe.

We do this in three ways:

  • Promoting Proven Practices

    Advancing the adoption of research-supported programmes that drive measurable impact across agencies and organisations.

  • Providing Accessible Education

    High-quality training, tools, and resources for efficient capacity building and professional development.

  • Supporting Professional Growth

    Career advancement and organisational credibility through the CEBA, CEBP, CEBL, and CEBO credentialing pathways.

Our Foundation

Through our online community, organisations and their staff can access resources that were previously exclusive to in-person events. Our members are employed across the full spectrum of health, human, social, and justice services — and are united by a shared commitment to evidence-based approaches.

EBP Society is the certification, community, and training arm of the Joyfields Institute ecosystem — and operates in close collaboration with EBP Hub (the member portal) and EvalMeasures (organisational assessment software).

Founded January 16, 2013

Officially launched by executives and an advisory team at Joyfields Institute for Evidence-Based Professionals. The certification programmes — CEBA, CEBP, CEBL, and CEBO — were established as a standardized, recognized pathway for professional and organisational credentialing in the evidence-based field.
